About me: Well it's been a few years since I played on Merlin. I remember the Ravenous guild and remember adventuring with some of you as a Healer of Midgard and member of the Myth guild.

In fact I had a bit of a nomadic life in Dark Age of Camelot which began in the spring of 2001 as a beta tester. I think choose Lancelot as my home. Eventually I would end up playing on Bors, Merlin, and Percival too. All of these as a member of the Midgard realm. I was a die hard Midgard player for most of my time in DAOC. I ended up switching teams when the Classic server launched and I went to Hibernia.

I stopped playing DAOC about a year ago. I was not happy with clustered servers and what I perceived to be the death of RvR as I know it because of it.

Only been playing Age of Conan a short time now. I started off in Early Access on the Cimmeria RP PVP server. But after being ganked for the ump-tenth time on my spawn point by campers, I realized I wasn't enjoying myself. So I've come to Dagoth. Mainly because I saw a large DAOC guild was on this server, so seemed like a chance to try hooking up with people with a common gaming experience.

I am also a long time UO player, started that in 1997 and played actively until 2001 and still login occasionally to see how the old game is doing. My homes there were Sonoma and Great Lakes.

Oh, forgot to mention.. Playing a Priest of Mitra.

And my character's eerie similarity to the appearance of the lead singer of Right Said Fred is 100% coincidental. Though I have been known in the privacy of my home to run around in my skivvies singing "I'm too sexy for my armor".

Took me a few days to do the in-game application since the Ravenous guild wouldn't show up on searches and I didn't have any names of in-game people to /send messages too.

Ravenous finally is showing up for me with the guild search. I clicked on the submit application button. But nothing happened. Not sure if something was suppose to happen.

But just wanted to mention I'm still alive and trying to get into the guild. hehe. :)

The in game guild invite is buggy Rav, just look for an officer or Gm in game and we will have you added. I'll be home in a few hours to add you if you havent been added by then.

Yeah, I saw that sticky. But assumed once the guild name did finally show up, that part did work. Guess it doesn't either. (Edit: re-reading the sticky, it seems obvious now that you did say the apply button was borked too. Sorry.)

Maybe a list of the officers and their character names in the sticky would help too? But I see some of your character names in your signatures now, so I think I got enough info to proceed. :)

PS. I recently discovered the microphone on my $100 sound card doesn't work under Vista 64. I'm still trying to sort that stupid thing out. :)
